The financial markets continue to drop. We have a new Presidential Administration promoting change and nobody is sure what that means. Pirates are controlling the seas off of Somalia and on and on the news goes.
I am thankful that God is our Protector.
. . .the Lord is going before you, and the God of Israel is your rear guard. Isaiah 52:12
We are children of God, the bride of Christ, a holy people and we are more than conquerors.
God leads His people triumphantly- We have been redeemed from the bondage of sin and freed by God. We once resided in the City of Destruction, now we are on a journey to the City of God, led by the Lord Himself.
In life, death, trials, tribulations, persecutions, plenty or want, sickness or health, God always leads His people triumphantly.
God leads His people by the Holy Spirit- The Holy Spirit has taken up residence in our lives to direct us as believers in Jesus Christ.
All those led by God's Spirit are God's Sons. Romans 8:14
God leads His people by going before us- Repeatedly the Bible speaks of God protecting and going before His people. He tells us which way to go and we are to follow.
Isaiah 42:16 I will lead the blind by a way they did not know, I will guide them on paths they have not known. I will turn darkness to light in front of them, and rough places into level ground. This is what I will do for them, and I will not forsake them.
Life is full of darkness, and rough places. Do not despair for God has promised to lead His people and not to forsake them.
God leads His people by coming behind us- He is our Rear Guard. After the Israelites left Egypt, Pharaoh pursued them with a great army of chariots. People began to complain and murmur. Yet God was true to His promises.
The Angel of the Lord who was going in front of them, moved and went behind them as their protector. God guards and protects His children.
God surrounds His people- No power in all of creation can separate us from the grip of God.
Psalm 34:7 The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him, and rescues them.
The victory is ours! What are we to do?
Have Faith in God
Follow God
Fulfill His will for our lives.
