Jamaica Mission - Friday, April 17, 2009

Today was our last day of VBS at Mt Zion. We had more children today than on Thursday. There were several decisions for Christ today.

Tonight's service was a blessing. I preached from Acts 9 on The Power of a Personal Testimony. At the conclusion, the altar was full and a number of people were saved. We had a gentleman named Irvin with us in the evening services each night for security purposes. At the end of the service tonight he came to faith in Christ. There was a holy hush in the service tonight and it was a great blessing overall.

I believe all of the prayers that went into the effort this time made a major difference in the work.

I fly out midday on Saturday back to West Virginia. I look forward to being at CLBC on Sunday morning to preach. I will be preaching on Monday morning at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary at the Spring Board of Visitors and Trustees meeting. Pray for me.

Pray for the team who will be here until the first of the week. Pastor Brandon will be preaching Sunday morning at Lilyfield Baptist Church.
