Missions is not a program, it is the work of the church. We are on mission to bring glory to God and take the Gospel to the ends of the earth. Cross Lanes Baptist Church is in the midst of an active missions calendar this year. The following are highlights of some of our work. Jamaica- (April) Took a team to the hills of Jamaica to partner with Rev. Crosbert Smith and the circuit of churches he serves there.
Green, Ohio- (June) Worked with a church plant there in sports camp and evangelism.
PowerPlant- (July) Hosting the Charleston, West Virginia NAMB project called PowerPlant to assist Church Plants in our region.
Moldova Team 1- (July) Working with an orphan camp in the northern part of the country.
Moldova Team 2- (July) Working in VBS and partnering with Emanuel Baptist Church in evangelism in the southern part of the country.
Free Clothing Giveaway- Cross Lanes Community- (July) at the church.
Mexico- (August) Serving children in an area located in the southern part of Mexico.
War, West Virginia- (August) Block Party, Backyard Bible Club- Partnering with the Big Creek Team Center.
Canaan Valley, West Virginia- (August) Reroof the Canaan Valley Baptist Church, Pastor Mark Joseph.
Transnistria- (December)- Shoe Mission to minister to Orphans.
Mark 16:15 Go into all the world and preach the gospel to the whole creation. When we go, God blesses at home. CLBC has baptized people three consecutive weeks, for His glory.
