God's People: Servants for His Glory

Every Christian is to be a servant of God. When you experience the changed life, you are to put aside the old life and long for the Word of God in order to grow in respect to salvation.

• You are chosen by God.

To be chosen is to be selected for a special purpose. You are not an accident, God chose you for a purpose. God chooses us in Christ, not based on any merit on our part, but based on His good pleasure.

You are chosen as part of a Holy Priesthood.

- You have access to God.
- You may make appeals to God.
- You are to be abandoned to God.
- You have an anointing from God.
- You are accepted by God in Christ.

• You have an identity from God.

- Living stones.
- Acceptable to God.
- A people for His possession.
- God's people.

• You have a purpose from God.

- Created for service.
- Saved and called out for service.
- Gifted for service.
- Empowered for service.
- Rewarded for service.

Service is about people like you and me . . .

Coming into the Body of Christ.
Finding out what our gifts are.
Getting into God's work.
For the glory of God!
