The Bible has a lot to say about wisdom, but there is also a significant amount of instruction regarding how and when to apply it. Many of us get ourselves in trouble when we either lag behind where God wants us to be, or run ahead of where God is working.Consider these verses:
Proverbs 15:33 The fear of the Lord is wisdom's instruction, and humility comes before honor.
Proverbs 19:2 Even zeal is not good without knowledge, and the one who acts hastily sins.
The more we fear God, and humble ourselves before Him, the more wise we will be in all of our decisions. We will enjoy peace in our hearts and purpose in our lives. We will avoid acting hastily and sinning in this way.
