The Shepherd's Field
There are so many sites of biblical significance in this land to see, that one could spend a lifetime studying the history and how it fits with the Bible, and still not have exhausted all of it. We began our day today by going up to the Temle Mount. On the Temple Mount is the Dome of the Rock, built by the Muslims on the site of where the Temple once stood.
We made our way there to the Western Wall, the "Wailing Wall". On from there we skirted the perimeter of the walls, viewing the Pinnacle of Temptation and then the southern wall. The group spent some time in the Jewish Quarter for lunch and then went through the Rabbi's Tunnel after lunch.
Our day concluded with a visit to the Shepherd's Field with a view of Bethlehem.
