The Valley of Elah
We started our day today at the Mt. of Remembrance, the Holocaust Museum in Jerusalem. The suffering that the Jewish people went through in losing 6 million of their own, is breathtaking. We must never forget the evil that men are capable of committing and the hope that we have in God.
From there we went to the National Museum of Israel where we saw a significant display on the Dead Sea Scrolls and also a model of the old city. We went by the Israeli Parliament and saw some sites along the way.
We ended our day at the Valley of Elah, the location of David's defeat of Goliath (I Samuel 17).
Tomorrow is our last day and we conclude in Jerusalem.
